Inspiration // I chose to make this costume because I wanted something different than what Souseiseki normally wears in the [Rozen Maiden] anime series. I have nothing pink in my lolita closet, so I figured I could make something that I would be able to wear everyday.

Motivation // I found the majority of the fabric at the Fashion District in downtown LA. I ordered the gathered ruffles in bulk online in order to have enough for this dress. I made the white sleeves detachable for convenient purposes. Since the zipper is in the back, I had to make the collar detachable too. The panel in front has no real purpose except for decorative effects, but I made button holes in them regardless so that's removable also. I tend to make things more complicated than necessary. >_< The socks came from a Halloween/costume store in Irvine, and the shoes came from Hot Topic.
